Today the Oaks faced their toughest opponent of the season, the Blue Ox rugby club from the cities. The Oaks and the Blue Oxen played with intensity, both looking for a try. True, the Blue Oxen was the team that made the trys but the Oaks put up a valiant defense and hung with the Oxen. The Oaks managed to keep the ball in the Oxen’s half a significant part of the time and held up several trys preventing the Oxen from scoring. All in all it proved to be a good game that showed the Oaks’ tenacity and what they are capable of when faced with a superior team.
