Ode to Aki, pt. I - Tokyo

Well, now that the leaves have all been blasted off the trees and lie browning at our feet, I'm already feeling a little nostalgic for autumn. So, to ease the passing of the autumn-that-is-no-more in our hearts, I've compiled some photos from my off-campus study in Japan that capture the essence of the season.

This selection of sixteen images comprises the first in a series of photo posts. After all, fall lasts as long in Japan as it does here. Part I of the series paints a picture of autumn in Tokyo, where I visited over fall break.
