Not even finals week will prevent the students of Arts 327 from presenting the results of their term-long projects in an exhibition in Boliou last Friday. Woodworking: The Table, taught by Stephen Mohring, is a largely self-directed advanced art class. Professor Mohring spends the first half of the term teaching students how to work with wood, then for the second half of the term tells them to build a table and sets them loose. Each table in the exhibition is designed to evoke a particular feeling, from waking up early on Saturday morning to sustainability to the memories of an off-campus trip to Spain. It's worth checking out.
