Arboretum Research Assistant

One position available. Provide support with plant related research, inventory and monitoring projects.  Assist with preparing materials for fieldwork, data collection, data entry and analysis, and report writing. Learn to identify a diverse group of prairie plants to assist with inventory. Serve as a member of the Arboretum land management crew as needed (Approximately 20% of time). Position is for ten weeks. Applicant must be available to work during the period of August 27-September 7; remaining eight weeks are negotiable between June 13 and August 24. This position is supervised by the Arboretum Director, but will also work on projects as assigned by Professors Mark McKone and Dan Hernandez relating to Arboretum plant community research.
