Kipp Academy
"KIPP Stand Academy, is the first school in the KIPP Minnesota Region located in Minneapolis. It is part of the nation-wide “Knowledge Is Power Program” which is a network of free, open- enrollment public schools which is committed to the same philosophies of no shortcuts and high expectations for students." - Kipp Academy
BSA invited KIPP Academy students to Carleton College in order to give these young students a better idea of the college experience. The Kipp students were given a tour of Carleton College, participated in a campus-wide scavenger hunt, and had discussions with current BSA Carleton College students about academics, social life, and many more topics.
