Designing with Blocks
September 30, 2012
10:30 AM-12:00 PM, WCC 138
Keith Braafladt
Director and Learning Technologies Center Instructor, Science Museum of Minnesota
This workshop explored the DesignBlocks software. DesignBlocks is a wonderful tool to introduce computational-based graphic design. Participants in this workshop were introduced to the programming environment and then explored the online community-based tool (DesignBlocks runs in a web browser through a participatory gallery) and created and generated designs they could print or interact with online.
