Carleton women’s soccer has posted a 125-75-27 (.610) winning percentage since 2006, including back-to-back MIAC regular-season crowns in 2010 and 2011. The Knights also claimed the conference playoff title in 2008 and 2009 en route to three consecutive trips to the NCAA Championships (2008-10). During the 2011 conference championships season, the Knights were ranked No. 11 in the nation, the highest ranking in program history.

Two Knights have received two All-America honors in the program’s history, and 14 players have been named to the All-Region team in the last eight seasons. The squad has also won 17 straight team academic awards, and its 2011-2012 GPA was third among NCAA Division III programs.

Carleton made a successful debut in the NCAA Championships in 2008, advancing all the way to the quarterfinals (“Elite 8”), marking the first time in school history for any Carleton team to advance that far in a national tournament. With 18 wins and a first-time conference tournament championship, the team set new program records.

The 2010 Knights finished the regular season 9-1-1 in the MIAC, winning their first regular-season title since 1982. Carleton won its NCAA Tournament opening-round matchup against No. 18 Augustana (SD) College, 2-1 in overtime, and finished the campaign with 15 wins—the second-highest total in school history.
