Spanish in Madrid

Join us in Spain's capital, Madrid, for an exciting seminar on Spanish language and culture. Classes will be held at the Colegio Mayor Universitario San Juan Evangelista, one of several residencias (halls of residence or dorms) located at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. In order to immerse themselves in Spanish life and language, students will stay with carefully selected Spanish families.

Jorge Brioso, Assistant Professor of Spanish*

Professor Brioso has taught at Carleton since 2001. A specialist in contemporary Spanish peninsular literature, Professor Brioso is also interested in the relationship between Philosophy, Literature, and Film.

*Professor Humberto Huergo will be replacing professor Brioso for the Fall 2007 Seminar.
