Fr. James Notebaart is the former director of the Office of Indian Ministries of the St Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocese and former priest at the Blessed Kateri Church. Masses at Blessed Kateri were spoken in both Dakota and Ojibwe and included Native practices.  He now works at St. Mary's University in the Twin Cities.
