About the Program
Carleton competes in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), one of the top leagues in the NCAA Division III. The MIAC has sent multiple teams to the NCAA Championships in each of the last 11 years, including five seasons when the conference advanced at least four teams to the national tournament.
Led by All-America Honorable Mention selections Camille Benson ’16 and Lucy Stevens ’18, the Knights returned to the postseason in 2015.
Under head coach Heidi Jaynes, the team has enjoyed unparalleled success, qualifying for the MIAC Playoffs seven times and advancing to the 2005 and 2007 NCAA Championships. Jaynes is a two-time MIAC Coach-of-the-Year and AVCA regional coach-of-the-year in 2004. She currently ranks first on Carleton's all-time win list with 249 victories.
