Zoom links need a passcode
October 14, 2020If you update any upcoming Zoom meeting (which was originally set up before September 27), you may need to create a new Zoom link with an embedded passcode.
Zoom Updates September 27: More Flexible Breakout Rooms, Added Security, More Reliable Calendar-Zoom Integration
September 24, 2020The most recent update of the Zoom application now gives hosts the choice to allow participants to choose a breakout room and move between breakout rooms. For added security, all Zoom Meetings created after September 27 will require either a passcode or that the waiting room is enabled. For better integration with your Google Calendar, consider using the Zoom for G-suite plugin.

February 3, 2020ISSUE/NOTICE: VPN upgrade on Wed Feb. 5th from 5-9pm to resolve issue affecting Windows users.
February 1, 2020The VPN is currently unavailable for Windows users. The vendor maintenance work has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 5th from 5-9pm. All VPN users (Mac and Windows) will need to reinstall the VPN client after the maintenance. Instructions will be emailed to all faculty & staff on Wednesday and updated on this post.
ISSUE: Xerox printing is not working from Windows
December 6, 2019After the print server upgrade, printing to Xerox printers from Windows computers is not working. Printing to Canon and HP printers is still working.
RESOLVED: WiFi issues recurring, ITS monitoring systems closely
November 24, 2019We are experienced issues with clients connecting to both Eduroam and Carleton Guest wireless networks, first reported at approximately 3:10pm on November 24, with a temporary resolution by around 8:45PM November 24 and final resolution by 7PM November 25th.
ISSUE/RESOLVED: Temporary wiki outage
November 22, 2019The wiki was down for approximately 15 minutes on Friday evening. Service was restored at approximately 5:50pm.
