Email phishing spam

The following email message has been delivered to many people on campus.  It is NOT a valid message.  It did NOT come from ITS or any other valid source.

This is an example of a phishing message.  It is an attempt to steal your username and password.

Please do NOT click on links in messages like this.  Do NOT send them a reply.  You can flag the email as "Spam" in Zimbra, or just delete them. 

If you are unsure about the validity of an email message, please contact the ITS Helpdesk at 507 222 5999.

We regret to announce to you that we will be making some vital maintenance on our university website. During this process you might have sign in problems in signing into your Online account, but to prevent this you have to confirm your account immediately after you receive this notification.
