German Language and Culture (GERM.1212)

About the Workshop

In this workshop, participants will gain a deeper understanding of both the objective and free-response portions of the Exam. Participants will focus on identifying good authentic materials and developing effective authentic assessments so that students become ever more comfortable with the interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational modes of communication. Participants will collaborate on how to best present material on the six AP® course themes, design AP®-type tasks, and assess Exam samples and their own student work using the same AP® scoring guidelines that AP® Readers use.
